My name in this life is Helder Renato. I was born in 1977 in Portugal. There are 2 things that have always followed me, My Spiritual Awakening and a love of Music. At the age of 6 I began taking piano classes, it was not a big thing in the moment but I ended up investing a lot of my childhood to sitting in front of the Organ at my grandfather's house. At 14 I fell in Love with the Guitar and began to perform live concerts. The biggest shift happened however when I was 17 and choose the Violin to be my partner for life. I spent the next few years committed to Music School, studying; Classical, Folk and Portuguese Traditional Music. Around this time I also worked with the Artave Symphonic Orchestra but soon realised that it was not my destiny to only be a performer, shortly after I began composing my first songs. 

 

When I was 20 Electronic music came into my life. For the next 10 years I played violin at Rave Party's and clubs all around the world (Portugal, Spain, England, Germany, Angola and Colombia). During this time I also worked as a producer for other artists and a music/production teacher. In 2016 I was a co-producer on Maestro Rui Massena’s 2nd record for Universal Music. The album went on to become the No1 Top Selling album in Portugal. I was also a member of his Orchestra and performed at CCB (Lisboa) and Casa da Música (Porto).

 

 

Thought this time there was another element of my being emerging. The element of Spiritual Awakening and Healing. Around age 30 I was initiated into the 1st level of Reiki. This was a big step in my journey and allowed me to make a commitment to the Spiritual path. Spirituality had always played a big role within my subconscious, now however I was able to bring the practice into my daily life. Now I AM 39 years old, I've passed the last decade working on my own healing as a full time job. I completed the 3rd level of Reiki and was initiated into both levels of AMADEUS (a Shamanic System from the Guarani Tribe in Amazon). I practice meditation regularly and believe in a better world without fear, only LOVE.  Only Love can heal, we are just a vehicle so that beautiful, universal truth can flow.

 

Music is energy too, frequencies are combined to harmonize in very distinct ways and totally alter our state while listening. My energy when I am composing or playing is greatly affected by these frequencies and therefor I no longer enjoy working with music that does not resonate with my being. I need music in my life, it´s a full time love, music has the power to clear my energy and elevate my frequency. This is why I make music; it is my spiritual practice, through it I am able to connect with the universe and become the fullest version of myself. I AM just one more instrument of the universe, Sometimes I really feel that I am not the composer, do you know what I mean?
